About me as a player….

I have always been a very athletic person. I raced BMX off road bikes and competed in Scooter competitions at age 6 and was always riding a motorcycle of some sort. 

I started my soccer journey later than most players with my very first soccer practice in February 2018 at 10yrs old. I knew after that first practice that soccer was the sport for me! I was lucky to have my first coach ever Steve Gregory who saw something special in me and would help me fall in love with the sport.

I played in my local recreational league for the first year and then the local club team for a season finishing first place even with a broken hand. 

I was then accepted to the SoCal Elite Club team in November of 2019. The coach and club director David Oh also saw potential in me even with a lack of experience and began working with me to become a force on the field. Then Covid hit and I was forced to grow my skills on my own and through 1on1s when I could. Our team would frequently travel out of state to less affected areas to play and maintain our team’s strength.

I quickly became the team’s leading goal scorer and helped lead our team to the finals at Dallas Cup 2021, a National Cup Championship in 2021, a NPL Championship in 2022 and an undefeated season in EA2 promoting our team to EA. 

At the end of my EA2 season I was offered a spot on the Murrieta Soccer Academy MLS Next team and knew it was time to push myself and my soccer career further. My first season with MSA had its ups and downs with coaching and player changes however I was able to make it a learning and growing season for myself. 

As I begin my Junior year in high school and second season in MLS Next, I am driven to push towards my goals. My goal of playing college soccer, leading that team to a division championship followed by my dream of being a part of the MLS SuperDraft or USMNT.

About me as a person….. 

It might not be the norm at 16 but I am very health conscious and do my best to treat my body as a piece of equipment. I take pride in a healthy diet and well-rounded workout routine. If I am not training on the pitch I am at the gym or my favorite place… the ocean surfing. 

I have been surfing since I was 6 and it is something that relaxes me. A form of meditation. I referred to my love of surfing in my “Elevator Pitch” quickly leading to me receiving the nickname “Surfer” by Coach George Kuntz from CSUF.

In school I am a dedicated and hardworking student. Even through COVID I was able to maintain my grades, was self-sufficient and self-motivated. I was the only freshman to make the JV soccer team and the only Sophomore to make the Varsity team at Eleanor Roosevelt HS which has almost 5000 students. I am now a “practice player” with the Varsity team after making a MLS Next team. I enjoy being able to stay with the Varsity team even as a practice player because it helps me grow as a mentor and gives me more time on the ball. 

Soccer has already given me so many amazing opportunities and experiences. I have had the opportunity to travel all over the country and have made lifelong friendships that I never would have if it wasn’t for soccer. Both as a player and a person I am excited to see where else this sport can take me.
